Fees at River Bend Cemetery

GRAVES

Included in the prices of lots is a one-time perpetual care fee to ensure that the cemetery continues to be financially sound and properly maintained forever.

Path of Remembrance: Bench cremation lot, 10′ x 18″. Up to five cremations. $4,000

Section 81: Four-grave lots, monument-permitted: $7,000 ($1,750 per grave). Two-grave flush market lots: $2,400 ($1,200 per grave).

Section 82: Monument-permitted lots, two-grave minimum: $3,500 ($1,750 per grave) Two-grave flush marker lots: $2,200 ($1,100 per grave) Monument-permitted north side $2,800 ($1,400 per grave)

Section 84-S: Single-grave, small upright monument-permitted: $1,250. Cremation plot (4) upright tablet-permitted: $1,250. Single grave, flush marker only: $1,000.

Section 86: Mostly 2-Grave Lots, with limited number of Single Graves and 3-Grave Lots. Upright permitted lots: $1,750 – $2,000 per grave. Flush marker only: $1,500 per grave. (Effective 3/1/2021)

Cremation Garden

  1. Grass lots 3′ x 4′, four cremation spaces, small monument-permitted: $8,000
  2. Grass lots 3′ x 28″, two cremation spaces, small monument permitted: $4000
  3. Granite Walkway Stones: Stone included, engraving is extra. Stone for one cremation: $2,500 / Stone for two cremations: $5,000
  4. Columbarium: Two cremation spaces range from $4,000 to 5,000. Engraving is extra.
    (A columbarium is an above-ground structure for permanent placement of cremations). Click HERE for our columbarium policy.

Estate Lots: Estate lots and mausoleum lots are available. Please inquire.

Additional Grave Fee Considerations

  • Flower curbing installations are no longer permitted in River Bend Cemetery
  • If existing flower curbing needs removal for burial: $125
  • Foundations are installed by the cemetery under all memorials. Price is according to size at 69.4 cents per square inch.
  • Research for genealogy: $10 minimum, $15 per half hour.

FEES FOR INTERMENT SERVICES

There are no interments or grave openings on Sundays, New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

Interment Charges for Casket Burials

  • Adults: $1,000
  • Infants/Children: $50 minimum
  • River Bend Vault (grave liner) and installation: $700
  • River Bend Vault (as above) with seal and painted cover: $800
  • Outside vault installation charge: $250
  • Additional charge for Saturday interments or grave openings: $550
  • Additional charge for Victory or Columbus Day: $550
  • Tents for interments or cremations: $225
  • Wilbert Way coordination fee: $150

Burial Charges for Cremations

  • Cremation burial scheduled, includes urn vault: $700
  • Cremation burial unscheduled, includes urn vault: $625
  • Sealed urn vault (optional), additional charge: $100
  • Saturday cremation burial, additional charge: $325
  • Cremation burial on Victory or Columbus Day, additional charge: $325
  • Standard size urn vault above is 9″ long x 9″ wide x 12″ deep. Add $100 for 18″ long x 9″ wide x “12 deep

Right to Interment

The above costs are for the first burial in a grave. Additional interments are allowed on the same grave through cremation burials. The Right to interment fee for each additional burial on the same grave is $300.

Important Regulations

  • An order for interment requires 12 working hours’ notice.
  • All outside vaults except Wilbert Way to be delivered the day prior to funeral
  • Urn must fit 9″ long x 9″ wide x 12″ deep liner. Larger sizes must be requested.
  • All interment charges must be paid prior to burial. Burial lots must be paid prior to use. Perpetual care when not previously paid is $2.00 per square foot.
  • For two cremation burials at the same time and in the same vault: regular charge for one, the second charge is $300 for the recording fee.
  • Foundation-Veteran’s Marker fee is $75, effective August 15, 2016.
  • All prices are subject to change per the Board of Trustees.
